Mobile payment company Stripe faces financing difficulties, and its valuation is reduced to $50 billion

Stripe,an American mobile payment company,has reduced its valuation by about 10%to about$50 billion,which highlights the challenges that Stripe faces in completing the financing process.

The person familiar with the matter said that although Stripe is still expected to complete this round of financing,the company currently sets the price per share at about$20,lower than the previous price of about$23.A month ago,it was reported that the valuation of Stripe was between US$55 billion and US$60 billion,which was a big discount from the valuation of US$95 billion when Stripe last raised funds at the beginning of 2021.
