According to the Silicon Valley technology media The Information,Elon Musk,the CEO of Tesla and Twitter,has contacted researchers in the field of AI in recent weeks,and plans to establish a new research laboratory to develop the competition of the AI application ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is a chat robot developed by the start-up OpenAI.Musk was one of the founders of OpenAI,but then quit the company.In recent months,Musk repeatedly criticized OpenAI for taking protective measures to prevent ChatGPT from generating text that might offend users.Analysts speculate that the competitive chat robot Mask plans to launch may have fewer restrictions on controversial topics.
Mark Zuckerberg,CEO of Meta,the parent company of Facebook,also announced on social media that the company would form a top product development team to focus on generative AI products.

At the beginning of February,Google’s parent company,Alphabet,announced that it would launch the chat robot”Bard”.However,due to the wrong answer given by Bard when answering the relevant questions,Alphabet’s share price once plummeted.Recently,Google CEO Sundal Pichai launched an activity inside the company,requiring all employees to spend 2-4 hours a week to help test and improve Bud.He said:”The most important thing we can do now is to focus on building a great product and develop it with a responsible attitude.”
