According to Sony AlphaRumors,Sony A7M4 will get firmware update of version 2.0 in the near future.The specific update content is unknown.

At the same time,another message said that the firmware might release some of the Sony A7R5 functions,or include the new”focus surround function”on the A7R5,which can synthesize clearer images by taking multiple photos with different focus positions.

Sony A7M4 is equipped with a newly developed full-frame Exmor R CMOS image sensor with about 33 million pixels,and has achieved a wide photosensitive range that can be extended to ISO 50-204800.

The A7M4 has a 15-level dynamic range at low sensitivity to achieve a wider light and shadow level,while the creative appearance function allows users to easily adjust the color effect of photos or videos in the camera.

In terms of video recording,the camera supports 4K 60p recording in Super 35mm mode and 4K 30p recording in full frame mode with 7K supersampling to achieve high-quality video shooting.

Last November,Sony brought 1.10 firmware to the A7M4,improving the stability of the shutter.At the same time,it fixed the phenomenon that the dynamic image file rotated by the camera might not rotate when displayed on the computer.
